White Ink
Pico presses allow you to start your masterpieces with a blank canvas. Imagine outstanding whiteness and extremely high print quality in a single pass with Dantex ink technology and the latest printhead technology. The new SuperWhite® technology is capable of producing white ink opacity between 86% and 92% — in a single pass! Because white ink allows greater design flexibility and printing on a wider variety of substrates, you now have more substrate choices for white ink, including paper, film, foil, and specialty stocks. Most likely, you won’t even need to add a primer. Your blank canvas could be a smooth digital white ink with ultrahigh opacity — on which your graphics will certainly “POP.”
Efficient Ink Technology
Our unique ink system allows you to beat bubbles and deal with dirt, so your print jobs can be produced with remarkably even color density across the print head and print width. PicoColour and PicoJet use the latest print head technology, delivering Pin-sharp text and bold colors with an extended color gamut are achieved thanks to the proprietary screening software. Our specially formulated UV Digital Inks deliver high-quality results even on the most challenging jobs. Dantex PicoJet UV printing inks are safe for use in food packaging and are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of multiple food-safety regulative organizations.
State-of-the-Art Print Heads
The Pico line of digital presses employs the latest advancements in print head technology. The effective ink recirculation of TF Technology™ ensures that the print head is self-priming, maintenance cycles are short, and start-up is immediate. Hybrid Side Shooter™ is the architecture that provides continuous ink flow at a high rate directly past the back of the nozzle during drop ejection. Optimized Geometry nozzles deliver greater drop placement accuracy and, thanks to the inking system, consistent drop volume is achieved.
